Fan Recipe – Hariyali Biryani

1 cup basmati rice, cooked
10-12 spinach leaves, chopped
1 green capsicum, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup green peas, boiled
2 green chilly, chopped
1/2 tsp jeera
2-3 garlic clover, crushed
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cooking oil


1. Heat oil in a pan
2. Add jeera and garlic. saute and be careful not to burn the garlic
3. Add the spinach,capsicum,peas and green chilly
4. Let the vegetables cook for 5-10 mins
5. Add rice, lemon juice and salt
6. Server hot with roasted papad and curd
