Now that your metabolism myths are cleared and facts are checked it’s time to find out the food that helps your metabolism. By consuming these foods in the right proportion and at an appropriate time, you can help your body greatly.

1) Blueberries

Blueberries are good antioxidants. The process of oxidation in your body can cause problems like inhibited muscles, fat loss and even diseases. Blueberry helps prevent this.

2) Almonds

A handful of almonds are a great source of Vitamin E, which again is an antioxidant. Moreover almonds reduce cholesterol levels, contain fiber and proteins.

3) Spinach

Spinach has more nutrients than other foods. It helps you in protecting yourself against osteoporosis, heart disease, arthritis, and other diseases at the same time increases your learning capacity and motor skills.

4) Green Tea

It is advised to have green before meals. Since you’re filling your tummy with a hot liquid it helps in keeping your appetite in check. But be warned, since green tea contains caffeine it is advisable to monitor the quantity of consumption.

5) Oats

Oats are a good source of many nutrients including vitamin E, zinc, selenium, copper, iron, manganese and magnesium. Oats are also a good source of protein
