Tj's Quick Fix Recipe #06: Makhni Maggi

At Khai Peene Jalsa, we have always tried to be creative with our Maggi Noodles. Even though Maggi is everyone’s favourite quick fix meal option we often can get bored of the usual taste and wish to give it a new flavour. Now that’s exactly where our Makhni Maggi comes into the picture. With this recipe we’ve tried to give a slight desi twist to our usual 2 mins noodles. The Funfoods Makhni Mayonnaise and the Punjabi Garam Masala were the key ingredients used to give the noodles a subtle desi flavour.
1 Maggi Noodles
2 tbsp Funfoods Makhni Mayonnaise 
1 tsp Punjabi Garam Masala
1/2 cup assorted boiled vegetables of your choice
In a separate bowl take the boiled vegetables, add 1tbsp makhni mayonnaise to it and mix well. Add a little salt if you’ve not added it to the vegetables while boiling them.
While preparing the Maggi add 1 tbsp makhni mayonnaise and punjabi garam masala to it. When you see that the Maggi is almost done, add the vegetables and mix well. 
Make sure you don’t add the vegetable too early to avoid being over cooked.
Serve hot.
Instead of boiled vegetables you could also use left over vegetable. We had used Cauliflower Potato Peas vegetable left over from lunch. It turned out quite nice. You also give sprouts a try. The crunch of sprouts creates a nice experience.

Hey Tejas, you could even try to give it an italian touch by simply making the maggi normally and then adding grated parmesan cheese or even regular processed cheese would do and some herbs like chilli flakes and oregano or the best resort is using “Kapol” pizza masala. Adding a basil leaf and some blanched broccoli, zucchini and carrots would enrich it furthur! ? #quickfixmaggi – Aman.

      We’ve tried the cheese and herbs variant. Your basil and vegetable suggestion sounds really interesting! Will definitely give that a try. Do send some more of such creative suggestions.
