Tea Villa Cafe Opens It’s Doors in Chembur

The second we got the news that Tea Villa opened its doors in Chembur, we started doing the happy dance. Being Ghatkopar residents we’re overjoyed to have our favourite waffle joint coming closer to us.

Tea Villa has been our favourite destination for waffles and exotic teas. In the times where the world is obsessing over an American coffee parlour, it is refreshing to discover an Indian tea parlour branching at a commendable rate.

So what are our top picks at Tea Villa? Here’s list –

For some sipping…

Oriental Sencha – Green tea, rose, sunflower and cornflower petals

Blueberry Flowering Green Tea – it blossoms in the cup, no kidding!

For the hogging…

Paneer Skewers – harissa marinated cottage cheese topped with pineapple butter, such a delight!

Sauteed Herbs Mushroom – nice flavours but way too juicy.

Crispy Lotus Honey Chilli – right amount of crisp but too sweet for our tastebuds

Spaghetti Aglio Olio – on point!

Khao suey – we likey!

Stroganoff – exotic veggies, mushroom, onion served in a mustard creamy sauce with herb rice. A rice meal!

Cottage Cheese Sizzler – a meal by itself

Strawberry and Cream Waffle – a season special you can’t afford to miss

Chocolate Loaded Waffle – layered with belgian, milk and white chocolate, this waffle takes sinful indulgence to the next level.
